The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of Greater Tampa Bay Rescue Organization is currently being re-vamped and re-staffed. Rest assured our mission continues to be a force of good for giving Wheaten Terriers in the State of Florida in tough spots a better shot at life.
SCWTCGTB is all about helping Wheaten Terriers facing rough times, whether they’ve been ditched, neglected, left out in the cold, or their owners just decide they no longer can keep them. Our alliances with the National Wheaten Rescue and Wheatens In Need insure every Florida Wheaten in need of rescue will be helped. Both of these non-profit organizations have a long history of helping Wheaten Terriers throughout the country and are now committed to helping SCWTCGTB with any Wheaten in need of rescue in Florida.

Our Rescue Mission
The mission of the SCWTCGTB RESCUE is to re-home displaced Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers in the most appropriate environment for both the Rescue Dog and the new owner.
It is our mission to meet the needs of displaced Wheaten Terriers, both physically, emotionally and socially, as well as educate the public of the dangers of pet store, back yard, and puppy mill purchases, health screening and training needs of the SCWT.
Our rescue is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
It is solely funded by donations and adoption fees. To the extent permitted by law, your donations are tax deductible.
